Artist Bio
Lisa Sienkiewicz was born in a small mining town in Northeastern Pennsylvania . Even in a community whose blessings came directly from the Earth, Lisa stood out early as someone connected to the ground beneath her. While other children played kick the can and monopoly, Lisa could be found picking through gravel or polishing stones. She did this not to stand apart from the other children, but because she could sense the lonely spirits of the stones around her and chose instead to befriend them. It was with this act of childhood selflessness that the grateful stones began to share their stories with her.
They told her tales of the long, slow ages of the Earth, of times long past before the human eye was cast to look upon the world. They taught her ways to listen for the song of the singing stones, how to feel the low rush of the heartbeat of the Earth, and then gave her visions of the beauty that lies within the dark temples of the underground world. They told her how, even today, the planet itself burns with a secret fire born of soul, just as we do. More importantly, they began to tell her about their dreams, the powers they harbor, and what they wanted to be.
Lisa still listens to the stones and fulfills their dreams by making them into what they want and matching their power and beauty with a human need. Hematite might tell her that it wants to be part of a necklace and serve to ground its wearer. Rose quartz might murmur to her that it wants to be an earring and help its owner hear and respond to words spoken from the heart. They all speak their purpose to her that she might be the joyful instrument of their completion. In this way, the blessings of the ancient living Earth are crafted for you to wear. Here you will find jewelry for the Goddess within and be shown beauty with purpose.
