Motivate and Inspire

Sometimes I sit down to work and just can't come up with anything. I look at the countless boxes of stones. I look at my empty bead tray. Nothing comes.

It's then that I grab a big chunk of Carnelian in one hand for motivation, and a little piece of Goldstone in my other hand for inspiration. I allow the power of these stones and my personal intent to get my creative juices flowing. In no time, I'm inspired and hard at work.

Was it Edison who said, "Invention is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration"? Maybe that's why I use a big chunk of Carnelian and only a small piece of Goldstone. I always seem to need a lot more motivation than inspiration.

I used this principal in the making of this necklace, as well. Lots of chunky Carnelian to get you going and just a touch of Goldstone to light your way. The silver is present to help magnify the effects of both of the stones. Before you know it, Viola! Your creation will be manifest.
