Energize Yourself!

Some days I just feel like I need a tune-up. Too much work, or the demands of family and daily life have sapped me of energy and left me feeling a little "blah". In those moments all I want to do is lay on the couch. Unfortunately, my life won't allow such self-indulgence, so I have had to find ways to get going.

The first thing I do is dig out the Calcite and Lapis Nevada , and with one in each hand, I do my energy movement exercises. (You will find great ones in Colleen Deatsman's book Energy for Life ) The Calcite clears and activates each of my chakras as I focus on them one by one, and the Lapis Nevada gives me the clarity and awareness needed to do the exercise and pay attention as the energy moves through my body. This has me perky and engaged in no time.
