Dispel Fear Carlos Castaneda wrote extensively about his Toltec teacher Don Juan whom he met and later studied with in the Sonoran desert of Northern Mexico . The accounts chronicle the teachings of Don Juan and how Carlos weathered the lessons on his way to becoming a "man of knowledge". It is a wonderful series of books that I highly recommend. In the course of Castaneda's tale, he explains the four traps that can prevent a "person of knowledge" from advancing into illumination. These are, listed here in the order in which they traditionally present themselves: Fear, Clarity, Power, and Old Age. In many ways, the first trap is the hardest. Fear paralyzes us. It keeps us from venturing forth. It keeps us quiet and hidden away. Fear is the trap most easily succumbed to because it is first and because it consumes the novice. This piece is the first in a series that facilitates transition through the traps of a person of knowledge. This particular necklace is designed to dispel fear of any sort while intensifying the wearer's contact with her own soul. Fear exists only for the ego, because the ego believes this is all there is. The soul knows differently. This piece will help light the scary dark places and keep you in touch with your valiant soul-self. |
