High Priestess

In the bible's New Testament, the High Priest Caiaphas puts on his ceremonial vestments, which include a gem-covered breastplate, and "sees" that Jesus represents a threat to the Jewish people. He was absolutely correct, of course, but he was unable to see why that was. The world would be a different place if he had just kept his raiment on long enough to see the big picture. These vestments later appear in the Mormon church as the Urim and Thummim, the vestments that allow the wearer to see the future, the past, and speak with the angels.

This necklace incorporates four of the components that are documented to have been present on the magical breastplate of the High Priest. As such, it has distinct and potent magical powers whose purpose it is to enhance the wearer's psychic abilities. When worn in association with the bracelet and earrings, one might expect to see the future, find lost objects, or experience prophetic dreams. The Zoisite/Ruby pendant reminds us that with great power comes great responsibility, and that such psychic gifts should only be used while walking a path with heart.
